Chelsea Gladden

Chelsea Gladden is an American writer, parenting expert, work/life balance expert and occasional television guest. She is co-founder of Breezy Mama, a WordPress blog.

A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, she began her writing career professionally working for Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Web Producer for The Young and the Restless official site. Having written regular columns for SOAPnet and The Cradle, she Co-founded her own site, BreezyMama.com with Alex Ota.

Frequently quoted in the media, her advice has been featured in several media outlets, including Parents Magazine, People Magazine’s Moms & Babies, Pregnancy Magazine, US News, NBC San Diego News, Fox 5 San Diego and MSN’s HerSay with Soleil Moon Frye.

Chelsea has contributed articles on work/life balance for Working Mother, FlexJobs and Gabby Reece's official site.

A parenting expert, Chelsea has written several how to parent features on Breezy Mama as well as over 100 celebrity interviews on her own blog as well as Disney's Baby Zone and ForKidsEntertainment.

Sites such as People Magazine, Babble, Celebrity Baby Scoop and Perezitos have written about her celebrity interviews. Baby Center wrote an article about Chelsea's interview with Sarah Palin.

Television

Chelsea first appeared on NBC San Diego local news alongside Alex Ota to discuss preparing for back to school. Chelsea's then appeared solo on Fox 5 News San Diego to discuss her postpartum weight loss after having twins, her fourth and fifth child. Chelsea has appeared twice more on Fox 5 New San Diego to discuss her favorite product for moms and dads.

Work

Alex Ota partnered with Chelsea to publish her Breezy Mama advice blog for moms. After its popularity, Chelsea and Alex decided to create a site dedicated for kids entertainment, ForKidsEntertainment.

Recently Chelsea wrote an article for WorkingMother.com discussing ways career moms can volunteer with their kids.

Chelsea also works for FlexJobs as their Director of Marketing and PR.

Personal life

Chelsea is a mother of five children, the first was born in 2004 and her fourth and fifth, twins, were born in 2010. When Chelsea blogged about giving birth to twins, People Magazine linked to the article. In addition, Woman's World wrote a full page article about the birth of Chelsea's twins in their July 18, 2012 issue.

Health Magazine featured a regular blog detailing Chelsea's attempts to lose her final post-pregnancy pounds.

Chelsea was born and raised in San Diego, California and attended UCSB. Chelsea married her husband and the father of her five children in July of 202.
