The Chinese Ice Hockey Championship is the national ice hockey championship in China. It was founded in 1953.[1] It is made up solely of amateur teams. The lone professional Chinese team, China Dragon, participates in Asia League Ice Hockey. Another one, Kunlun Red Star, will play in the Kontinental Hockey League, starting in the upcoming 2016–17 season.
