Ciudad Real Subdivision or Barangay Ciudad Real (PSGC Code: 031420000) is one of the fifty-nine barangays comprising the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan in the Philippines.

Geography

Ciudad Real Subdivision is located on the southeast portion of City of San Jose del Monte, east portion of Northern Caloocan and northwest portion of Rizal.

Population

As of 2007 census, Ciudad Real Subdivision has a population of 1,798 people.[2]

Climate

The prevailing climatic conditions in the barangay are categorized into two (2) types: dry and wet season. The annual mean temperature in the area is 27℃. The warmest month is May with a mean temperature of up to 33℃ while the coldest months are January and February at around 22℃-25℃.

History

Ciudad Real Subdivision is a private subdivision owned and developed by the Asialand Development Corporation. It was originally planned with ten residential subdivisions, business district, commercial center, resort and recreational complex, an agricultural station, green reserve, schools, churches, trading center and an industrial park. This is easily accessible from any key centers in Metro Manila and nearby towns, municipalities and province.

The site has a total area of 1,057 hectares, 9 kilometers to the Batasang Pambansa site and 28 km to Makati, Metro Manila. Elevation is 300 to 600 ft above sea level. Ciudad Real Subdivision used to be a part of Barangay Tungkong Mangga, the largest barangay in City of San Jose del Monte, but later became a barangay itself.
