Conócete a ti mismo

Conócete A Ti Mismo (Know Yourself) is a book written by the Spanish philosopher Joaquín Trincado Mateo in 1913.

The philosopher states that there is nothing in the material, political and social, ethical, physical, metaphysical and spiritual life that does not have a solution in Spiritism Light and Truth. Trincado attempts to synthesize everything related to the physiology, Fisiognosia and Ethnology of human beings. He explains that spiritual or metaphysical nature is the root of all rational world order. The book is divided into four parts and ten chapters.

The Spirit

"Life is the spirit and the spirit is universal life"

The Spirit is cause of the universe and life in all its forms and dimensions. The spirit is ruled by unchangeable, universal laws of love, affinity and justice. The purpose the spirit is to demonstrate the rational life through these laws. Wisdom is accumulated only with experience. As the spirit is eternal, this is possible through reincarnation. In the world this is seen in civilization, community, and harmony of all social orders, especially in economic achievements and scientific development proceeding largely unimpeded.
