Connection Collection, Vol. 1 is a 2012 EP by American rock and roll band The Connection. The eight-track album combined the Seven Nights to Rock EP tracks with two cover songs and the newly released Comes and Goes - EP, and was released on King Yum Records as a 12" vinyl, and on Collectors Club Records digitally.

History

Production

Connection Collection, Vol. 1 combined the Seven Nights to Rock EP tracks with two cover songs and the newly released Comes and Goes - EP, which included two Marino/Palmer-penned tracks “Comes ‘n’ Goes” and “Gonna Leave You."[1] The latter was co-produced, mixed and mastered by Ramones’ engineer and producer Ed Stasium,[2] who also played lead guitar on the song.[1]

Release

In December 2012, the band was named the "Best Indie/Pop/Punk/Americana Band" by its hometown newspaper.[3] That same month, the group released the eight-song EP Connection Collection, Vol. 1, on Collectors Club Records. It was released digitally and on 12" vinyl, with a limited run of 300 on King Yum Records.
