Contrazt is a Norwegian dance band from Solør, formed in 2004. The group originated when Hanne Mette Gunnarsrud and Leif Dybendal from the duo Fullt og helt decided to expand and change the name. Three new guys joined when the group Contrazt occurred.

Contrazts first album was released in 2006 and was named Kan du prøve å forstå. Other album was released the following year and was called Leve livet.. In 2008, the album Sommernatt. After five years on the road and three recordings selected Hanne Mette Gunnarsrud to stop to prioritize family.

Gro Anita Johansen took over as lead singer by Hanne Mette Gunnarsrud. Her first album with Contrazt was without a Uten kart og kompass. After five albums became gold record for the group in 2010, when the album Ser på verden went gold in four weeks. In 2011, the album Har det på G. Contrazt won the 2011 award as' Folk, Golden Boot. In 2012, the group released the album "Contrazt - I hundre." This is the 8 release for the band. Contrazt is also named 'Folk, Gullskoen 2012. On 21 January, Contrazt were selected to perform at the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2015 on 14 March, with their song "Heaven".
