Cornelis van der Meulen

Cornelis van der Meulen (1642, Dordrecht 1691, Stockholm), was a Dutch Golden Age painter.

Biography

According to Houbraken he was a portrait painter who had been a pupil of Samuel van Hoogstraten.[1]

According to the RKD he was a pupil of Samuel van Hoogstraten and made clever vanitas and trompe l'oeil paintings. He moved to Sweden in 1678.[2]
