Corpus Glossary

The Corpus Glossary is one of many Old English glossaries. It is a descendant of the Leiden Glossary and the Épinal-Erfurt glossary.[1]

History

The manuscript of the Corpus Glossary dates to the 8th century.[2]

The Corpus Glossary is among the oldest extant texts in the English language.[3]

Currently the Corpus Glossary is kept at the library of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University.[4]
