Courtnay (full name and dates of birth and death unknown) was an English cricketer. Courtnay's batting style is unknown.
Courtnay made his first-class debut for Godalming against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's in 1825.[1] In this match, Courtnay was dismissed for a duck by Lord Frederick Beauclerk, while in their second-innings he was dismissed for 14 runs, though the bowler who took his wicket is not recorded. The Marylebone Cricket Club won by 65 runs.[2] The following year he another first-class appearance, this time for Sussex against a combined Hampshire and Surrey team at Petworth Park. Courtnay scored 3 runs in Sussex's first-innings, though which bowler took his wicket is not recorded. In their second-innings wasn't required to bat, with Sussex winning the match by 9 wickets.[3]
