Daniel Day Wiley

Daniel Day Wiley (August 10, 1837[1] – January 25, 1893) was an American Union brevet brigadier general during the period of the American Civil War. He enlisted in the 21st regiment.[2] He received his appointment as brevet brigadier general dated to March 13, 1865.[3]

After the war, he was a Republican candidate for the legislature but was narrowly defeated. He was never married.[4]
