David A. Arnold (born March 15, 1968) is an American stand-up comedian, sitcom writer and actor.

Stand-up comedy

Arnold has been performing since 1997.[1] He performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival, on Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza (Comedy Central) with Jamie Foxx and Cedric the Entertainer, The Tom Joyner Show, Baisden After Dark, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, ComicView, The Mo'Nique Show, Entourage (HBO) and Def Comedy Jam.[2]

Sitcom writer and actor

Arnold has written episodes of several comedy shows, including Meet the Browns (TBS),[3] The Rickey Smiley Show (TV One),[4] Raising Whitley (OWN),[5] Tyler Perry's House of Payne (TBS),[6] and The Tony Rock Project (MyNetworkTV).[7] Arnold appeared in several television series including Meet the Browns (TBS),[8] A Series of Unfortunate People[9] and The Tony Rock Project (MyNetworkTV).[10]

Personal

Arnold is married to Julie L. Harkness and has two children.[11]
