Derek Hulak (born September 2, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing for the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL). Undrafted,[1] he signed a one-year contract with the Comets after two full seasons with the Texas Stars.[2] He also played for the University of Saskatchewan's men ice hockey team.[3] His brother is Dan Hulak, a former professional ice hockey player.
