Desulfitobacterium

Desulfitobacterium is a genus of Gram-positive, strictly anaerobic, rod-shaped, spore-forming bacteria from the family of Peptococcaceae.^[1][2][3] Desulfitobacterium species have low GC-contents.^[3]
