Diaphone eumela, the Cherry Spot[2] or Lily Borer, is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa[3] and Angola.[4]

Like its relative, Brithys crini, this noctuid is found almost exclusively on plants of the Amaryllidaceae and Liliaceae families, and has been recorded feeding on Ornithogalum eckloni and Boophone disticha.
