Diego Milán Jiménez (born July 10, 1985 in Almansa) is a Spanish born professional road bicycle racer, who competes for the Dominican Republic since 2012. Milán has also competed for Acqua & Sapone–Caffè Mokambo, Caja Rural and Differdange–Losch. Milán competes under a licence from the Dominican Republic,[1] having been born in Spain.[2]
Professional career
Milan won the Dominican Republic National Road Race Championships in 2013[3] and 2014.[4]
Milan was the first Dominican to ever participated in the Olympic Games when he participated in the individual road race, even when he did not finished.[5]
Milan was fourth overall during the 2016 Grand Prix Cycliste de Saguenay, riding for Inteja–MMR Dominican Cycling Team.[6]
