Dion Conroy is an English footballer who plays as a Defender for Aldershot Town on loan from Chelsea.

Youth career

Chelsea

Conroy started for the Under-18 side during the 2011-12 season and started games against Crystal Palace and Southampton in the first half of the season. His first goal for the U-18s came at Christmas against Bristol City in April 2012. In his first season, he became an Under-18 team regular and progressed into Under-21 contention by mid-season. He earned plenty of U-21 starts by mid-season and was really proving his worth. 2013-14 proved to be a challenge as he became an U-18 and U-19 regular but when his chance to gain a starting role in the Under-21 team, he was struck with injury and missed the last six weeks of the season. He was placed on the bench until December. Eventually, he became fit and resumed playing in March, Conroy finished the season well and injury-free, showing another level of class. During the season, he made 21 appearances out of 28 and in February 2016, He signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until the 2017-18 season.
