Douglas E. Bond (b. 29 October 1958) is an American author. He has written 25 books, primarily historical fiction.[1]

He earned a Masters in Teaching from St. Martin's University, and a Preliminary Certificate in Theology from Moore Theological College.

He was the English professor at Covenant High School in Tacoma, WA from 1993-2015, receiving the 2005 Teacher Award from the Pierce County Library System. He is currently a tutor for the Oxford Creative Writing Master Class, adjunct instructor in church history at Western Reformed Seminary, and adjunct instructor of English Literature and Writing at Northwest Nazarene University.[2]

His work has appeared in the periodical Tabletalk,[3] and he has spoken alongside R. C. Sproul.[4] He was featured in a CBS news report in 2014 when a group of students he was leading on a Great Britain tour were delayed from coming home by volcanic activity in Iceland.[5] He is on the advisory board of Glorious Films in Montreal.

He is a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. In 2015, he was elected to the General Assembly committee for Reformed University Ministries, which oversees the Reformed University Fellowship.
