The Du Roc Crips are a street gang in Monrovia and Duarte, California. They are a crips set.

Territory

The DuRoc Crip set claim all of Monrovia and Duarte. The "High end" is in Monrovia, in the areas between the 210 freeway and downtown Monrovia, while the "low end" is in unincorporated Duarte, between California and Mountain avenues south of Duarte Road.

Rivals

Their main rivals are Duarte Eastside and Monrovia Nuevo Varrio, both of which claim territory adjacent to or inside the Du Roc territory. Their rivalry with these gangs has resulted in numerous shootings, most notably the shooting of Cincinnati Bengals draft pick Dennis Weathersby in 2003 and the fatal shooting of Samantha Salas in 2008.[1]

Injunction

In 2009, Du Roc was given an injunction, as well as Monrovia Nuevo Varrio, as a result of the shootings in 2008. Duarte Eastside wasn't given an injunction because the Duarte city council didn't agree with it.[2]
