ERC Chinese Top Ten Awards

ERC Chinese Top Ten Awards (Chinese:东方风云榜颁奖典礼) is a music awards show, mostly known for FM101 radio music chart program ERC Chinese Top Ten. The show honors Mandopop music and Mandrin singers based on the radio chart. It was created by Shanghai Media Group Limited in 1993. The presentation ceremony is annually broadcast on DragonTV. The ERC Chinese Top Ten Awards is annually held in Shanghai since the first ceremony. Before 2004, the awards only recognized mainland Chinese pop singers. At the 11th ERC, the new category Mandarin Top 5 (Chinese:华语五强)was created to honor 5 singers from mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.
