Edge of Innocence is an upcoming Chinese mystery thriller film directed by Chang Jung-Chi and starring Huang Zitao and Yang Caiyu. The film is based on the novel Summer, The Portrait of a 19 Year Old, written by Japanese mystery writer Soji Shimada.[1] It revolves around Kang Qiao (Huang Zitao) witnessing what is possibly the process of Xia Yingying (Yang Caiyu) committing a crime, but yet is drawn to the beautiful girl. After getting to know her better, Kang Qiao discovers that there are even more mysteries surrounding Xia Yingying and faces danger himself.
The film was scheduled for release in China on August 2016 but due to yet unknown reasons, the film has at the moment an undefined release date.[2]
