Edith Grace White

Edith Grace White (May 16, 1890 – 1975) was an American zoologist known for her studies of elasmobranchs (sharks and rays). She also published textbooks on genetics and general biology, and was professor and head of biology at Wilson College for over 30 years. Born in Boston, she earned a bachelor's degree at Mount Holyoke College (1912), went on to Columbia University where she received master's (1913) and doctoral degrees (1919).[1][2]
