Elfa's Singers is the Indonesian pop vocal group which formed by an composer Elfa Secioria and current's line-up consists of Agus Wisman, Yana Julio, Ucie Nurul and Lita Zen.

Formation and career

The group had formed in 1978. Initially, the group only have eight member Agus Wisman, Arifin Yudhanegara, Kusnadi Madjid, Nana Suryana Patah, Rita Mustamsikin, Inne Suherman, Poppy Saban and Elly Jayusman. During their journey career, the group had often changing the member personal and later changed became to seven member Yana Julio, Iwan Wiradz, Toni Sianipar, Via Andiesta, Lita Zein and Ferina Zubeir.

After that, the group had continue to recording studio and releasing his debut album in 1987, titled Kasmaran. After vacuum in seven years, the group return to released the second studio album Aku Jatuh Cinta in 1994 by Musica Studios and produced the first same-titled album single.

The pop group had winning a series of international prestigious awards. Elfa's Singers has crossed the globe to various countries to perform as ambassador of Indonesia in various festivals in Netherlands and Thailand. The group had launching for the third album, titled Elfa's Singers II in 1999. In addition, the group also appointed by Olympic Games for singing choir in World Choir Games where their earn for Grand Champions in Austria (2000), South Korea (2002), Germany (2004) and China (2006).

In 2015, the group had embarked a tour in several United States cities Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC. where performed with House of Angklung.[1]

After long time vacuum due to busy of their respective,[2] Elfa's Singer return to local industry music for releasing the fourth album Timeless, which worked by themselves for four years during an songwriter Elfa Secioria was died in 2011.[3] For the album, the pop group subsequently won two awards for Best Pop Group and Best Vocal Group Production Work at major industry music awards Anugerah Musik Indonesia.[4]
