Emma Swanson is an Australian rules footballer with the Greater Western Sydney in the AFL Women's competition.

Amateur career

Forth played state league football for East Fremantle in the West Australian Women's Football League (WAWFL). She has previously played for the Peel Thunderbirds.[1]

From 2013 to 2015, Swanson represented Melbourne in AFL sanctioned women's exhibition matches.[1] In the 2016 series, she played for the West Coast representative side.[2] She returned to play for Melbourne in the 2016 AFL Women's all-star exhibition match.[3]

AFL Women's career

Swanson was signed as a marquee player by Greater Western Sydney in July 2016, ahead of the league's inaugural 2017 season.[4]

Other work

Outside of football, Swanson works as a development officer for AFL.[5]
