Emmanuel Oschoffa

Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa (born 1948) is accepted as pastor and spiritual leader of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) by many of the church members, who consider that he succeeded the third pastor Philip Hunsu Ajose who died in March 2001. A rival faction considers that Paul Suru Maforikan is leader of the church.[1][2]

Emmanuel Oshoffa was born in 1948 at Kpave, Benin. He went to university in Paris, France, gaining a bachelor's degree in animal biological science in 1976, and a master's degree in 1977. In 1997 he was appointed head of the CCC Diocese of France.[3]
