Eugénie Cotton

Eugénie Cotton (13 October 1881 – 16 June 1967) was a French scientist and Women's rights activist. She was a founding member and the first president of the Women's International Democratic Federation.^[1] She was awarded the Stalin Peace Prize in 1951 and the Gold medal from the World Peace Council in 1961. She married fellow scientist Aimé Cotton in 1913.
