Ezza North is a Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Ebiaji. The local government was chaired by a female chairman chief Patricia obaji odu(ogboogu 1 off Ezza land) who was known for her philanthropism and borehole water scheme since the community suffered from lack of water. Chief Patricia o. Odu equally pays monthly allowances to all the disabled indigenes of Ezza north and encourages them to be of good cheer and love one another for God is love.Close to the end of her tenure she provided the community with Electricity as the LGA had no electricity when she came into office and till date there's electricity in Ezza north LGA ,she ruled for 3 years and she was succeeded by Barr ikeuwa omebeh who was an ally to Gov. Elechi and took advantage of the people's mandate but has no significant achievement apart from paying workers salary, he ruled for 6-7 years and was succeeded by the present chairman of the LGA Mr joefrey the LGA Bosses are bound to be dissolved as the new governor Engr Dave umahi (Ekubaruoha 1 of ebonyi state) sets his LGA s in order
It has an area of 305 km² and a population of 145,619 at the 2006 census.
