Gameren is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Zaltbommel, and lies about 14 km (8.7 mi) northwest of 's-Hertogenbosch.

Gameren was a separate municipality until 1955, when it was merged with Kerkwijk.[1]

In 2001, the village of Gameren had 1288 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.46 km2 (0.18 sq mi), and contained 475 residences.[2] The statistical area "Gameren", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1940.[3]
