Gang of Eight (fiscal matters)
The Gang of Eight referred to a group of eight leaders of each of the two parties from both the United States Senate and United States House of Representatives that formed in 2013 in hopes of forging a bipartisan compromise on the Fiscal Cliff crisis that arose that year.[1][2][3]
