The Gantimurovs (Russian: Гантимуровы) is a Russian princely family descending from Tungusic Evenk or Mongolic Daur prince Gantimur (Mongolian Gan:steel, tömör:iron). Alternate spellings are Gantimourov(a), Gantimouroff, Gan-Timur and Gan-Timour.The name "Gantömör" is a real Mongolian name so the Gantimur prince might be Daur Mongolian.
