Garlaniyan

34°15′23.0″N 73°18′47.2″E / 34.256389°N 73.313111°E / 34.256389; 73.313111 Garlaniyan is a village in Abbottabad District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. Abbottabad is the capital of Hazara Division. The village was founded in 1857.Galniyan is part of the Union Council Banda Pir Khan.

The nation which lives in Garlaniyan is called Syed. who traveled from Kashmir in 1947. People of Garlaniyan speak Hindko. Garlaniyan has a small river that flows from the forest of Garlaniyan and joins Siran River in Mansehra.From Qalandarabad Garlaniyan is (12.2 km) away.A normal Jeep takes over 30 mins to reach Garlaniyan.

The population of this village is 480 people. This village has only one Primary School. This village has two Mosques.

Garlaniyan has the wealth of Phosphate. Phosphate mining is the profession of most of the people of Garlaniyan. Phosphate is distributed to the fertilizer companies such as Pak Arab fertilizer, Fatima fertilizer and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited.The Councilor of the village is Syed Muhmmad Asghar Shah.
