Garner Holt

Garner L. Holt is the founder and president of Garner Holt Productions, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of animatronic figures for theme parks, shopping and dining venues, museums, corporate attractions, and other education and entertainment-based locations. Garner is a native of San Bernardino, California, where his company is still based.

A recognized authority on the history and technology of animatronics, Holt has received numerous awards for his entrepreneurial efforts as well as his company's creative achievements. His company has been honored with nearly two dozen of the Themed Entertainment Association's Thea Awards (including Holt's 2014 Harrison "Buzz" Price Award Recognizing a Lifetime of Achievements), and, most recently, the Disneyana Fan Club's (DFC) Disney Legend Award.

Holt's company is continually at the forefront of advances in animatronics technology and use of related techniques in non-entertainment markets,[1] including military training and prosthetics.[2]
