George Panagiotopoulos (born in 1 January 1930) is a Greek lawyer and politician.

Biograph

Son also political Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, a former Member of the EPP, born in Kavala. After the completion of legal studies at the University of Athens he returned to his hometown of dealing professionally with the lawyer. Immediately after the dictatorship was mixed with politics and the first elections of 1974 he was elected MP Kavala, the fledgling New Democracy party where he was appointed undersecretary of Commerce (1974–1977). In the next elections in 1977 re where he was appointed trade minister (1977–1980) and then Transport Minister (May 1980 – October 1981). With New Democracy MP Kavala reelected in the elections of 1981, 1985, 1989, 1993, 1996 and 2000 only failure in the elections of 1990. In the 2007 elections the electoral position continued the nephew of Nikos Panagiotopoulos elected MP to Kavala.
