Gorai Union (Bengali: গোড়াই ইউনিয়ন) is a union of Mirzapur Upazila, Tangail District, Bangladesh. It is situated 6.7 km east of Mirzapur and 33 km southeast of Tangail.
Demographics
According to Population Census 2011 performed by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, The total population of Gorai union is 57,897. There are 14,397 households in total.[1]
Education
The literacy rate of Gorai Union is 59.4% (Male-64.1%, Female-54.8%).[2]
