Govan High School
Govan High School is a secondary school situated in Govan, Glasgow, Scotland. It opened on its current site in 1969 and in 2010 it celebrated its centenary, with Sir Alex Ferguson (former pupil) attending the event.
Notable alumni
Sir Alex Ferguson attended the old Govan High School from 1954 to 1958, and went on to achieve fame as a professional footballer and most of all as manager of Manchester United since 1986 to 2013
