Governors Athletic F.C. are a football club from the Isle of Man. They compete in the Isle of Man Football League.

Governors Athletic were founded in 2014, and for their first season played their home matches at Nobles Park in Douglas. For the 2015/16 Season, Governors Athletic secured the new 3G pitch at Bemahague and will play their first official league game there on 15 August 2015.

The first team won their first ever match on 10 September 2016, with a 1-0 victory against Michael United. a 94th-minute goal from Andrew Zola Ronan sealed the win.

Governors first team recently rallied to defeat malew 4-1 in a feisty game. It was a grudge match for the ages! Also into folklore is Mr Glover who was verbally assaulted on the touchline and shoved before storming onto the pitch like a warrior! the combi team didn't play that weekend however as Malew Combi called the game off because it was cloudy, and their pitch didn't like it. Governors did offer different venues and even willing to pay the costs, but 10 minutes after Malew postponed the game their 6 combi players had made plans, so the game didn't go ahead.

Govs now have a record 6 points and are 5 clear of Michael United, 6 clear of Malew.
