Gregory J. Goff

Gregory J. Goff ("Greg") is an American businessman the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tesoro Corporation where he has been since May 2010.[1]

Education

Goff graduated from the University of Utah with a BS degree in 1978. He graduated with an MBA from the University of Utah in 1981.[2]

Career at ConocoPhillips

In 1981, Goff joined ConocoPhillips where he worked for many years. In 1998, he was the director and CEO of Conoco JET Nordic and then became the chairman and managing director of Conoco Limited. In 2002, he became the president of ConocoPhillips Europe and Asia Pacific downstream. By 2004 he was the president of ConocoPhillips’ US Lower 48 and Latin American for their exploration and production business. By 2006, he had become the president of ConocoPhillips specialty businesses and business development. Then, in 2008, he was promoted to be the senior vice president at ConocoPhillips.[1][3]

Career at Tesoro

Goff became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tesoro Corporation in May 2010. He became the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tesoro Logistics in April 2011.[4]

Board memberships

Goff is on a number of boards. These include PolyOne Corporation and the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers. He's on the National Advisory Board for the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business. He's also on the board of the National Society for High School Scholars.[5]
