Hakea brachyptera, commonly known as the Short-winged hakea, is a shrub of the genus Hakea native to an area in the southern Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions of Western Australia.[1]

The low spreading intricately branched shrub typically grows to a height of 0.4 to 2.5 metres (1.3 to 8.2 ft) and produces white flowers.
