Hans Albert Hakenholt (18 June 1909 – 16 July 1981) was a German officer during World War II.

Biography

Hans Albert Hakenholt was born in Rombas, near Metz in Lorraine. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross is awarded in recognition of extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hakenholt was captured by Allied troops in May 1945 and released in 1947.
