Harry Clever Field (IATA: PHD[2], ICAO: KPHD, FAA LID: PHD) is a city owned, public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) southeast of the central business district of New Philadelphia, a city in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, United States.[1] It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.[3]

Facilities and aircraft

Harry Clever Field covers an area of 160 acres (65 ha) at an elevation of 894 feet (272 m) above mean sea level. It has two runways: 14/32 is 3,951 by 100 feet (1,204 x 30 m) with an asphalt surface; 11/29 is 1,907 by 70 feet (581 x 21 m) with a turf surface.[1]

For the 12-month period ending May 31, 2011, the airport had 54,880 aircraft operations, an average of 150 per day: 97% general aviation, 3% air taxi, and <1% military. At that time there were 36 aircraft based at this airport: 92% single-engine, 6% multi-engine, and 3% helicopter.[1]
