Havsbotn

Havsbotn (69°50′S 38°45′E / 69.833°S 38.750°E / -69.833; 38.750Coordinates: 69°50′S 38°45′E / 69.833°S 38.750°E / -69.833; 38.750) is a bay comprising the narrow southernmost, or "bottom," portion of Lützow-Holm Bay, Antarctica, marking its head. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and named Havsbotn (sea bottom).[1]
