Heinrich Heimann (17 September 1915 – 20 August 1944) was a Sturmbannführer (Major) in the Waffen-SS who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

He was the commander of Sturmgeschütz (assault gun, usually abbreviated StuG), Abteilung of the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler when he was awarded the Knight's Cross on the 23 February 1944. In August 1944 he was killed in action at the end of Normandy campaign in the Falaise Pocket. [1]
