Hendijan (Persian: هنديجان; also Romanized as Hendījān; also known as Hendeyān, Hendīān, Hindīān, and Hindijan)[1] is a city in and the capital of Hendijan County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,100, in 5,054 families.[2]

Hendijan is an historical city of Iran over 3000 years old, in the south-eastern Khuzestan province and 75 kilometers southeast of Mahshahr city. The Hendijan (Zohre) river is divided Hendijan city two halves into North and South. For mor information in Persian: هندیجان
