Holy Cross School (Holy Cross Matriculation Higher Secondary School) is a primary, secondary and higher secondary Catholic school founded in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1963. It is a boys' school, and also runs a hostel.

Clubs

The school has many Clubs.Computer Club, English Literary Association, History and Geography Club, Economic Club, Junior Jaycee, Nature Club, Maths Club, Science Club, Interact Club, Philately Club, Health Club, Quiz Club that provides facilities for students to develop their skills in activities other than academic. The cultural festival, fondly known as Kalothsav, is a testimony to the multifaceted educational ethos of Holy Cross. In keeping with the tradition of Holy Cross as path breakers and pioneers, Kalothsav, the interschool cultural competitions, came into existent three decades ago to provide avenues to the student fraternity of Salem to showcase their talents and capabilities.

The term Kalothsav encompasses a multiple cultural activities.

Kalothsav GrandNights – A platform for the interschool winners to showcase their skills to the citizens of Salem.

a) N.C.C Through N.C.C ( Army and Air Wing) the school imparts basic discipline and instills in the young minds patriotic feelings. It offers opportunity for a Career in the Army and Air Force.

b) JRC. Junior Red Cross, gives training in First Aid, Clean Environment etc..

c) N.S.S N.S.S tries to make the students aware of the dignity of labour and give enough opportunity to its member to move with the public. The members are encouraged to believe in the concept "Not me but you"
