Home Instead Senior Care is a multinational network of franchises specializing in non-medical in-home care for the elderly, in support of aging in place. Headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, it is the largest senior care franchise in the world, with 1000+ independently owned and operated offices worldwide.

History

Paul and Lori Hogan founded the firm in 1994. The firm has been cited for its business success by organizations such as the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, Franchise Times,[1] Inc. magazine, the International Franchise Association, and TIME Magazine.[2] CEO Paul Hogan was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the International Franchise Association.[3]

In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, the Home Instead Senior Care® network was listed No. 1 overall in franchisee satisfaction among all categories, as announced by Franchise Business Review.

Charitable Giving

In 2003 The Home Instead Senior Care Foundation[4] was established as a means to further enhance the health, safety, support services and lives of seniors. The Foundation funds non-profit organizations that specialize in programs and services for seniors, including research and development, education, scholarships, and/or advocacy for the health and well being of the elderly.

As of 2014, The Home Instead Senior Care Foundation had awarded 151 grants totaling more than $1.5 million.
