Hyperborea is a monotypic genus of tiger moths in the Erebidae family. The females are brachypterous (have reduced wings). The genus contains only one species, Hyperborea czekanowskii, which is found in the Russian Far East (Nzhnyaya Tunguska river, northern Yakutia, Kolyma river, Koryakia, Chukotka, Wrangel Island, Kamchatka, Stanovoi, Udokan) and Alaska.[1]

The wingspan is about 37 mm.[2]
