Ibrahim Khan Fath-i-Jang

Ibrahim Khan Fath-i-Jang (also Mirza Ibrahim Beg, reigned: 1617–1624) was Subahdar of Bengal during the reign of emperor Jahangir.[1]

Early life

He was the son of Mirza Ghiyas Beg and brother to Empress Nur Jahan. Ibrahim Khan served as a veteran in Akbar's reign.[1]

On 20 April 1624 he died in an attack by the rebellious Prince Shahjahan.[1] He was buried in a mausoleum at Rajmahal.[1]
