International Committee of Clean Technologies

André Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard created the International Committee of Clean Technologies after achieving the first round-the-world solar flight with Solar Impulse 2.

The International Committee for Clean Technologies is a non-governmental organisation promoting green energy and sustainable technologies.[1][2]

Its creation was announced on 26 July 2016 by André Borschberg and Bertrand Piccard at the completion of their circumnavigation of the globe with the solar-powered aircraft Solar Impulse.[1][2]

Organisation

During their travel around the world, they brought together about four hundred associations promoting renewable energy.[1][2]
