International Microbiology is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Spanish Society for Microbiology; it publishes articles on all aspects of microbiology. The society has published a journal since 1934 (Microbiología Española (1947-1986) and Microbiología SEM (1986–1998) were the predecessors).

Editorial board
