Other activities

Apart from his teaching and academic activities, Ahmad pursues a parallel track concerned with issues related to social problems, particularly the ones related to Bangladesh. He also has serious interest in freethinking, politics and human rights of people. He writes in the Internet blog mainly in Bengali language covering his interests.[1]

He is also the member of advisory board of the Mukto-Mona, an Internet congregation of freethinkers, rationalists, skeptics, atheists & humanists of mainly Bengali and South Asian descent.[2]
