Ivo Müller, (born 6 December 1977) is a Brazilian actor, known for his role in the European co-production Tabu, for which he was the only actor in the main cast to be from Brazil.

Life and career

He was born in the southern city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina on December 6, 1977. At the age of 15, he received a scholarship to an exchange student program in the US. His first acting lessons were taken during this experience abroad, when he went to learn English and wound up discovering himself as an actor.

He has captured the attention of critics and audiences, both abroad and in his own country, as the only Brazilian actor cast for one of the main roles in the European co-production Tabu, by director Miguel Gomes. The feature film won several prizes, including a Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2012.
